  Notes	Emigrated to the USA from Queenstown, Cork, on the liner Etruria on 28 May, 1899. The ship's manifest states that he was bound for Aspen, Pitkin County, Colorado, and he gave his brother Florence as his contact in Aspen. He cleared US emigration at Ellis Island on 4 June, 1899 - Manifest Line Number: 0017. He filed a Declaration of Intention to become a US citizen in the Court of Pitkin County, Colorado, on 14 August, 1900. By November, 1910, he had returned to Ireland. At the time of the 1911 Census of Ireland, he was living in his old homestead in Milleens together with his Parents and Brother Pete. Subsequently, he married Nora O'Sullivan (Darb) of Coulagh, Eyeries, Beara in October, 1913, settled down in a farm he purchased in Inches, Eyeries, where he and Nora raised their family.
